John Landis on his book Monsters In The Movies

Premiere Scene's Claire and Anthony Bueno popped down to London's Forbidden Planet to talk to renowned Hollywood Director John Landis, to talk about his new book Monsters in the Movies. Discover the history of monsters in the movies as seen through the eyes of filmmakers Christopher Lee, Joe Dante, David Cronenberg, Sam Rami, Guillermo Del Toro, Ray Harryhausen, Rick Baker and John Carpenter as they join John in conversation. And if pictures do paint a 1000 words then the amazing 1400 photographs certainly paint a true picture of the incarnations to which the silver screen has helped deliver our thrills and chills!

Monsters in the Movies has been published by DK and is available in all reputable book stores.

Burk & Hare- World Premiere

The much loved John Landis is back with his new black comedy Burke and Hare. Claire & Anthony Bueno of Premiere Scene secured some exclusive interviews with John Landis (American Werewolf in London, Blues Brothers) Isla Fisher (Confessions of A Shopaholic), Deborah Nadoolman (Indian Jones, Thriller), Jessica Hynes (Son of Rambow, Shaun of the Dead) Simon Pegg (Star Trek Shaun of the Dead) and Andy Serkis (Lord of the Rings, King Kong). Find out from cast and crew whether the most famous serial killers of their time were indeed victims themselves, how important it was to remain as historically factual as possible, shooting in such extreme cold British temperatures and why John Landis is held in such high regard, not only as a director but more importantly as a person.
